Our group of schools is located in Vila
Verde’s County,
in Braga’s district. This
county occupies an area of 229 Km2, with a population of 48.000
inhabitants. The area of influence of our school is wide, going west
and north-western of the county till the borders with
Ponte de Lima and Barcelos.
This year 1330 pupils (age: 3-15)attend the schools
of AEMRN. Sixty of them are adults attending adult education, at night.There are 147 teachers and 59 non-teaching staff.
Hristijan
Karposh is a non-profit public primary school situated in Kumanovo,
Republic of
Macedonia. Hristijan Karposh is providing formal education to 1308
students in the age range from 6 to 14 years.. The students are of
ethnically different background: the majority- 1104
Macedonian and the minority -191 Roma and 18 Serbian students.
According to the national education system the educational process takes
9 years – from 1st to 9th Grade. The teaching process is
carried out in two shifts in three separate buildings - one central
school and two satellite schools with a total area of 3661 m2.
"Versmės „ progymnasium is located in
Klaipeda, Lithuania . 929 students attend school. 400 of the
students are in primary classes. (7- 11 years old.) 529 are in lower-
secondary classes (12-15 years old.) 72 teachers work there. A
modern library,
2 new ITC rooms are equipped at school, a methodology center for each
school subject has been established and it allows the school community
to put modern
information technologies into practice which is an integral part of
modern school life. The school employs 5 educational support
professionals who help teachers to work with the students with
disabilities.
Our school is located in the
south-west of Romania,160 km from the capital, Bucharest. It is a big
village and it has its typical small-village problems (lack of
contact with the world, etc.). There are 490 pupils and 40 teachers
in our school.
The main industry is agriculture and
this has had a substantial decline in revenue in the last few years. The
unemployment rate is relatively high. We educate
students between 6 to 14 years old from a rich multicultural and
multinational environment. Some pupils in our school come from the near
villages by school buses and others are in the village
centre.
